BLS branches and divisions operate in 76 Belarusian towns and villages as well as in Moscow, Irkuck, Vilnia, St. Petersburg and Riga.

This article is a review of the BLS’ web portal. It was published in “Zvyazda” newspaper.
Having regard to the Universal Declaration of Linguistic Rights and to Article 22 of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union (2000/С 364/ 01), proclaiming respect for cultural and linguistic diversity; considering the objectives of the WG1, we propose the following.
Administration of the kindergarten 565 refused Belarusian-speaking parents to form a Belarusian-medium group for their children. The parents asked the BLS for help. The organization has started collecting signetures for securing the parents’ right to educate the children in their mother tongue.
The postcards commemorate Janka Kupala’s, Jakub Kolas’ and Maksim Tank’s anniversaries. They are designed by Ihar Maračkin.
This plan is signed by Deputy Minister of Education K. Faryno and approved by the Minister of Education A. Radzkoŭ on 12 March 2010. However, it has never been paraded by the Ministry of Education. It will be invaluable for any Belarusian language advocate.
This is part 3 of results of the opinion poll conducted by the civil campaign “Let us be Belarusians” and the sociological laboratory “Novak”. This time the answers concerning cultural activities are presented.
